  1. Hi i made a comment on your old mod i am going to paste it here :)

I am new to rbr , and i cannot find the answer anywhere , actually i cannot find anything on ngp3.
So my question is , is ngp3 an older version of ngp6? is it outdated and is ngp6 more advanced and more detailed on the physics ? and can i use ngp6 cars with ngp3? i would like to play with the most realistic physics mod and i dont know which to choose .
    thanks in advance

    1. As the name suggests, NGP3 is an older version of NGP6. It is so old it is not supported anywhere, NGP6 is currently the best you can get in terms of physics, but some cars are not converted yet, so you might need to use NGP5 sometimes as well.

    2. so what cars can i use with this mod? and if you are using this mod are you playing it with the ngp6? becouse what i could see from the comments it's that lots of people prefer it for some reason.
I have been playing rbr with ngp6 on season mode and i really love the physics , i am not used to it yet, i always crash on at least on turn but i think the physics are perfect.

    3. In the link below are most of NGP5/NGP6 cars to download alongside the NGP plugins themselves. If you look on the internet for some cars (RBR+ is good for that) it will always tell you which physics it uses, whether NGP5/6 or original physics. I don't think you will find any NGP3-4 cars though.

  2. Hi,

This is not an easy question to answer and an attempt to do this will most possibly start an awkward debate.
NGP 6 is supposed to be the best version of all NGP plugins, due to being the most advanced, but what you have to take into consideration is, that everyone creators and players interpret the most realistic in their own way. Both versions NGP 3 and 6 are Worker Bee creations, but i have made adjustments to NGP 3 version (mainly due to not being restricted like the later ones) purely to get the best out of Gunter's (WB) great work.
Any opinion here is just an opinion and we would have to ask professional drivers for the answer to be sure, therefore i would advice to test all of them and create your own opinion and find for yourself what suits you most.
Happy New Year to all of you!

    1. Thank you so much for answering especially at this day :) . i decided to use this mod with ngp6 for now , but will this make my career harder? What cars can i use? or does this mod comes with cars? and another thing :P Do i have to delete all the mods that i am using now? ngp6 as well?

  3. This is entire game to be used as single player and for fun only, best if you use it separately and keep your ngp 6 version.
    Take care

  4. I would also like say Big Thanks to all RBR community, the good and the less good individuals ;-) You are all great and i am grateful for all support and understanding.
It has been a few hard years for me, but i hope you will appreciate my honest intentions-to get the best out of all best stuff in RBR community from all of the great creators of fantastic stuff that should never be missed or unnoticed, i have only put it together with few adjustments here and there for all true rally fans.

And on this last day of the year and my last release of RBR mods, i want to thank you all again and wish you Happy New Year 2021!!!

    It was a pure pleasure.
    Bye

  5. From my experience regarding NGP-3 vs NGP-6, and as I stated in the other BaseMod 2020 thread:
"All in all I really can't say which physics and its cars drives better. Both renditions (NGP3/NGP6) have their advantages and disadvantages."

AND it really depends on the CAR itself, it's settings, and how propper its author has done his job (regarding torque, differential, toe in/out, etc...).

Because you'll always have two physics packages: The main/basic settings physics DLL (e.g. NGP3 or 6), and the specail physics folder of the car.

If someone wants to compare, you must do this with the cars default settings and with its conditions at "delivery", on various undergrounds.

For example (my own experience) the Fiesta R5 and the new Fiesta Rally2 with NGP6 and their default settings (no car tuning by myself), are a poor joy to ride.

Still challenging of course, but the whole package seems pretty spot on. You almost feel like driving a real rally car, including a gorgeous FMOD/gear shifting sound.

Whereas Przemek's Fiesta R5 fades away clearly (regarding sound and driving physics, propper grip).

Otherwise the Fiesta RS WRC driven with NGP6 is a sheer catastrophy (especially during low speed turns), even with FMOD it sounds like dogs howling to the moon.

My ideal NGP physics rendition would probably be a "mixture" between NGP3, NGP5 and NGP6, without the disadvantages of each other.

  6. Ohterwise I've tested rigorously Przemek's Yaris WRC 18 and its default setup on tarmanc today (one of my favourte tarmac test tracks: Sardian v.1.1 - day).

Oh my gosh :o !!! What a hell of a machine, what a joy to ride - here, driving becomes way more enjoyable, then only racing and setting good track times.

In this case the author has done a marvelous job. You as the driver can almost feel literally how the car is fighting against the centrifugal forces, against friction and loosing the grip on the edge.

If you are willing to practise, you will feel like a Rally Champion or Ken Block drifting their cars on tarmac through fast lanes on limit, accompanied steadily by tire squeals and the subliminal fear of crashing.

Just awesome! Something I could never do with the same Toyota Yaris in the environment of NGP-6 and its physics.
With NGP6 I would have keyed up the car 10 times before (NGP6 tends a lot to behave a drunken ballerina whilst high or even low speed turns, like a RWD car, which the Yaris is not) either, or I would have crashed 100 times during my drift attempts (because the margin of tolerance in NGP6 is very, very small).

My resume: In this case Przemek Guminski has exceeded NGP6's tarmac behaviour with his own NGP-3 enhancement BY FAR.

Very well done and highly recommended. If you want to experience a real world WRC car on tarmac going wild, you would probably find nowhere something better - payware stuff like Dirt Rallyf 2.0 and WRC included.

  8. Hot tip: Lower the skidSoundThreshold in your RichardBurnsRally.ini to something between 92 - 98 and you'll hear the screeching of the tires earlier, BEFORE the car is loosing grip and starts to spin out.

Which helps a lot to uphold the constant side slip angle.

  9. Wow Sigi, thank you for your positive feedback.
Please let's highlight the fact that I have only made adjustments to most possibly the best version of ngp for weight transfer and control over car made by Mr Gunter (Worker Bee) which still hasn't got many improvements from newer versions and we can only imagine how great the latest version would be with those tweaks.
Humble thank you for your kind opinion.
    Stay safe.

    1. Mr. Przemek: Thank you for your kindness and for answering so detailed; your reads are very interesting - and not long at all as you've phrased in the other RBR Base Mod 2020 thread.

Question and suggestion to you: Have you ever tried to contact those guys from "RBR Real Physics" on facebook ?

I think if those Real Physics people and you come together, something great can happen.

Maybe its time for a serious cut and to start from scratch; maybe its time to become independent from this one special person who is doing all the physics stuff on its own, and all the others have to follow (or not and stay without enhanced physics like the Italians and their RealRally sim, as far as I know).

It would be a shame if a skilled person or "engineer" :) like you, with such good reflections about how to get the physics in RBR as real as it gets (especially for AWD), would be forced to retire.

Unfortunately I'm too far below your level of skills. If I would not, I would give you help immediately.

  10. Hi Siggi,

I have tested most available RBR mods like RSRBR, Real Rally RBR 2016 ect. And most available physics including Real Physics, who I have spoken to as well, but the people behind them have abandoned this project long time ago and are not willing to continue as well as I have tried my best get involved in development of NGP, but unfortunately all unsuccessful and by myself I cannot do much more.
Also in short I think I have tried all available kinds of physics, from original through all other and NGP in its plugin and complete structure seems to have the best potential.

Without having the coding skills it is not possible to start from scratch and even with them it would take years and many people to create new physics engine. I have burnt out and sadly most people are more likely to take or criticise, but very tiny amount appreciates and almost nobody is willing to support or contribute.

I am not skilled at all and I shouldn't have touched the WB intellectual property, what I have learnt after the release of my mods, into which I have put all my heart with best intentions to get the best and most realistic of RBR in all of the sleepless nights. But even though we call ourselves RBR community, it sometimes feels like the aspect of most realistic is not the most important and what I mean by that is, I don't care if it's me or anyone else who does it, because to me it is not about me. To me best rally game, anywhere (Codies, KT, or anyone) should be first about the best simulation of reality as it is, and for everyone, but I am aware that it is not as easy as it sounds.

I know that it is possible with all the incredible people and skills who have built this community. No competition, but cooperation is the only way to constantly improve our beloved sim, even though it may take some constructive criticism in order to progress.

Forgive me, but I have no more to offer, so lets appreciate Everyone's work in RBR, enjoy what we have, and hope that future will bring what we want.

    Take care

  11. How to contact to physics creator?
I want to upgrade the Ngp 6 mod .
Wrc cars(others too) have very low steering lock ,like 270*. Its hard to make harpins or going sideways without a spin .
Its not realistic at all trying drive rally cars straight .Thats not a race track .F1 cars I think have the same or even bigger steering lock .
I used to love harpins ,now i hate them .
I want enter a corner without woring my car spins at small angles .

I just surprised that nobody talks about it ...
I like the new physics but at the same time rbr became unrealistic .
You can only steer the wheels half the way that a wrcar can .
