The stage name interests me though. I can only assume it's meant to be Finnish, but as such it's not a credible name. More like a Google translation gone horribly wrong. :-)
Straight translations: Musta selkä - Black ridge Sika kama - Pork stuff ( not sure is it ment to mean exactly that, but could be :D Originally in Lapland it's called Siika-kämä, Siika is Whitefish and Kämä is slang phrase for Crappy. But I don't think that they have used slang words in Lapland back in old days. Kämä can mean something other or not :) ) Devil ride - Perkele ajo ( many possibilities though )
Well, "Kolmejärveä" - as name for a location - would be even worse than Kolmenjärvet, in fact it almost makes the latter believable. :D I suggest you to keep the original name and not worry about it any further. I mean, we could discuss this + how direct translations don't really work in here endlessly, and it's not worth it.
"Hyppyjulma" was fine to me in most aspects, interesting but fine all the same. Maybe you got a bit lucky that time, Mato22. :)
Good news! New gravel track!
OdpovědětVymazatGood news indeed.

Yes, very nice indeed to have these stages in gravel!
OdpovědětVymazatBut to me as a Finn, those gibberish names (hyppyjulma, kolmenjarvet) are pretty annoying :D
:)
OdpovědětVymazatSome better names?
wild leap - Hyppy julma
3 lakes - Kolmen järvet
mato22 :))
Well :)
OdpovědětVymazatStraight translations goes like this:
Wild leap - Villi hyppy
3 lakes - Kolme järveä
I don't know what kind of translator you use, but this is pretty handy when you need to translate in Finnish language: http://www.sanakirja.org/
Cheers :)
