  1. Isn't it the same stage as Muxarello?))

"It comes together with La Mussara in Real Rally 2016" - so once again it won't be available for the whole RBR community, just real rally users?((((

    1. We will wait for the release date to see...
Real Rally team surely knows that isolation not benefit them.

    2. It's their track, they can do whatever they want. They will surely release it for everybody after some time, and I'm sure we have already plenty of tracks in the meantime. What is sad is that the first comment, instead of being something like "thank you for your hundreds hours spent to make a track", is a negative comment. And what does the RBR community for the modders?

  2. Don't distort my words. I'm very grateful to all who do modding for RBR, and I’ve been looking forward to La Mussara very much, as I’ve already tried it in rFactor and it’s great. But what good of a new content if it is available only to a limited number of users of one mod? And I’m not so sure that soon it will be available to all. Pian del Colle is a vivid example – have we got it for everybody? – No. Having been released more than a year ago it still remains “exclusive” stuff of RealRally. So at the moment I see no reason for being thankful as I simply shall have no chance even to try it. RBR is being kept alive thanks to enthusiasm of people who create new content, but if everyone keeps it for himself will do nothing good.
“And what does the RBR community for the modders?” - And what have you personally done for the community or for the modders?

    1. That's an easy one: I've done three brand new tracks from scratch and two conversions into classic format. I've co-founded an international modders forum. I've prepared comprehensive tutorials for making tracks. I've spent hundreds euros for software, hardware and for donations to other developers. In change I received 35 euros in donations (half of which from other track makers).
I received the same kind of comments in the past and I just don't like to see the same thing on other modders. My work is now free for everybody, after initial restrictions to RBR-Online or RBR-World. That's why I replied and hope you understand.

    2. Ok, I understand, but you should have called your name at once)))
I also want to say two things in reply to your comment:
First - I did not say anything bad about the track or its creators. I've just expressed my regret that I won't have a possibility to play it.
And second thing that I do not quite understand is that you want to make money by creating stuff for RBR. I can barely imagine how much efforts and time modders put into creation of new tracks. They are doing great job for the whole community, and this keeps RBR alive for as much as 10 years now!!! Without the work and passion of such people this game would have been already dead, I suppose. But if it is about passion and commitment then it's not about earning money, and if it is about earning money, then RBR is probably not a right place for it.
In the end I want to say that your tracks are excellent and they are among my favourite, great respect to you for your work.

    3. I just made an example to make you understand how good is the community at commenting, as long as they are not obliged to pay for new downloadable contents.
Do you want to know the effort? 700 hours for Loch Ard. A 3D artist would ask 10000 Euros. So please, please, don't even suspect we make it for money.
If we have a donation button on our websites, as every developer of freeware does, is just to cover a small bit of the expenses for licenses of software/plugins that are used for modding.

    4. You are absolutely right, but I want to add that modders are also not obliged to create anything, as well as nobody is even obliged to buy and play RBR. I think this is what community is - if anyone can and wants to create new content then he does it, if anyone wants to donate it then he does that.
Anyway, this is the point where I'll stop this discussion from my part because of big respect to you Eno72 and your work, and with your big authority within the community I suppose I'm not the man to argue with you))

  3. sorry, but I want to clarify one thing.
RealRally no longer exclusive of Pian del Colle, from long time, can be released freely, but has problems.
I'm going to solve these problems, but I have little time to do this, being an old track, I prefer to use the little time I have available, in new projects.
I am willing to release it as is.
I do not know what you expect from this track, seen the continued demand.
considering your impatience, I think I will release with the mistakes he.
I hope that with my bad English, I managed to bend over.
    greetings to the whole community.

    1. casgra 11, sorry if I offended you. I didn't mean anything bad about you or your track, just mentioned Pian del Colle as an example. And I really look forward to driving it, even so you say it's an "old track", because your tracks are really nice and I do like them.
