Maybe it should be tested well and only than realse to the public? We have "BIG ROLLOUT" to CZ plugin and than trying to fix bugs? Not good approach at all! I really didn't like it how NGP6 overall feels. It feels like V10 Ferrari hitting ground all the time. And find some "good" bump - flying into a space like Falcon9.
Kirill, this release adds extra functionality for telemetry to make it work with motion platforms. If you have problems with NGP6 then you should help test and give feedback to Workerbee. If more people were giving feedback then there would be less need for revisions.
Unfortunately the RBR community is full of lazy negative grumblers which are used to get everything for free and still they don't have any problem to blame the results all the time. There is just a few people realizing they should appreciate the effort of the modders (like WorkerBee) by supporting their work by i.e. providing a relevant feedback. It is kind of depressive.
jendabek, I got really good change from v4 to v5, maybe less grip but it's seems more realistic and it feels good overall. Now it's a complete mess and yep I tested, I give feedback not on NGP6 unfortunately and have "U don't know anything about u saying". And the approach of making new physics is really bad, it's based not on data, but on feelings how it shold be driven. But I guess 10 people or less drive a real R5 rally car who can test NGP6. So NGP6 it's completely guessing how it should work.
Who told you it's not based on data? That's just wrong. You'd need to provide real, solid arguments otherwise you definitely will get told you don't know what you're talking about.
RBR physics engine & NGP is a simulation that works with real-world data, WorkerBee only extends the simulation by modeling new / more advanced features. But as with every simulation he needs to make some compromises... and this is a room for some tweaks. The feedback from real R5 drivers (i.e. Gryazin or Semerad) is that NGP6 is very close to real thing, although there are some areas to improve (as always). I am not a physics expert or a real driver but in my opinion we are in a situation where track quality starts to have much more impact on the realism than the physics itself.
All as I heard from Gryazin it all about NGP5. And NGP5 really cool. He not drive much km's on NGP6. All as we can guess it's a bout feeling, but as we see now NGP6 with R5 cars on Chirdonhead about 15sec FASTER. It's not that real that same car on different physics have such time difference!
That not based on data Anonymní ... If that was a telemetry support it's still not based on data. A year ago when tests NGP6 started all based on people reaction "good or bad". Grip x1.5 - good. Gravity x1.5 - good. Inertia of car and engine x1.5 - good. Released!
Kirill, you didn't hear right in this case, Gryazin is using NGP6 and told many times that it is very significant improvement in general. Read the description in his RBR video he has uploaded in his channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_Dfyaedp-g

OdpovědětVymazatIt is already activated in the Hungarian plugin.

Thanks for your hard work. I just hope We will have these physics for all cars. I mean really for all as WRC 2.0, Kit car, S1600, gr.N. Maybe one day.
